Mar 27, 2020
Each day our students spend a minimum of ten minutes focusing on vocabulary and oral language development that supports reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. This year we are celebrating all the words our students have learned while working toward their goal of going to college.
Hairgrove will host Dress Up Your Learning Day this year on March 27, 2020. We want to invite your student to dress up as a vocabulary word to celebrate all the many words they learned this year.
If you would like your child to participate, you may choose one of the words from the list attached or another word of your choice. You may choose words that describe something (colorful, red, smelly, etc) or words that are related to content (such as number line, exclamation point, mountain, etc.) We do ask that students do not dress up as anything negative, violent, or evil such as guns, swords, gore, or scary masks.
We are so proud of how much our kids are learning, and we look forward to celebrating their learning on this day!
